Autism in Adults

Many autistic adults come to therapy after feeling misunderstood—not just by other people, but sometimes by previous therapists. If you've left therapy thinking, "Maybe therapy just isn't for me," it may be that the approach didn't fit the way you think and experience the world. Therapy doesn't have to feel that way.

  • I try to understand your experience before offering advice. Suggestions should fit your values and how you process the world—not mine.

  • Change is broken into specific, actionable steps rather than broad and lofty ideals.

  • I welcome questions. If you're wondering why I suggest something, I'll explain my thinking rather than asking you to simply trust the process.

  • Autism often overlaps with anxiety, ADHD, OCD, depression, or substance use. We'll consider how these interact instead of treating each issue in isolation.

About Me…

I started a specialty practice for Autistic Adults because of the feedback I got, where my clients would ‘finally feel understood’ when no one else could get there. Having close family members with autism has also given me additional perspective on the day-to-day realities many autistic adults describe. I also love the direct communication, humor, and unorthodox style of seeing the world that so often comes up in my sessions.

Cost for Service

I am in-network with Aetna insurance, but many of my clients utilize my out-of-network services and submit the SuperBill that I provide in order to get reimbursement for my therapy services.

I provide therapy virtually and in-person with limited availability at my office in Del Mar.

Therapy Sessions are $170.
