Our Services

  • Through practical impulse control techniques and insight-oriented therapy, we will understand where the addictive behaviors come from and how to stop them from continuing. I frequently work with alcohol, weed, and porn addictions, but have experience with all kinds of addictive behavior. Freedom from addiction is also not a one-time decision, but rather is an ongoing recommitment to a different way of being.

  • I often find that men struggle to identify and express what they are feeling. Whether it is managing anger, anxiety, or depression, I use a variety of techniques to help men understand and deal with their emotions. This builds better relationships not only with others but with themselves as well.

  • Feeling disconnected from others or confused by your own emotional experience? I have helped many clients with Autism identify both the strengths and challenges that are naturally built in to a neurodivergent experience. We will discuss practical techniques for building relationships, challenging All or Nothing thinking styles, and identifying and managing emotions that can lead to impulsivity.

  • Attachment is the way we learn to relate to and depend on others that comes out of our childhood experience, and I work to ensure that therapy is a non-judgmental space to identify those patterns past and present. We will talk about how to build intimacy and develop a healthy level of dependency on others in order to eventually build more secure attachment.

  • I take a Narrative approach to help clients rewrite the story that they have told themselves after experiencing trauma, all while using grounding techniques to manage moments of dysregulation. I always take trauma therapy at the client’s pace and am sensitive to not push clients past what they are ready to discuss.

“Trauma is not what happens to you, but what happens inside of you as a result of what happens to you” - Gabor Mate

Therapy with Jordan

I use a transparent and authentic style of therapy to help build safety and trust in session. In other words - I am very much myself in therapy and will be clear on how we will address your goals and what techniques we will be using and why. I love my work and am always learning how to bring more effective care for my clients. Clients describe me as warm, supportive, humorous, practical, and non-judgmental.

Here’s what you can expect:

In the first one to two sessions we will talk about who you are including questions about your family, how you spend your time, relationship status, hobbies, and many other topics. Then we will identify your goals for therapy and how we might reach those goals in session. If at any point during the process you have questions or a change in your goals, we can always change our plan. My hope is that you experience safety to share your experience, and that you leave empowered with the tools you need to take the next steps in your life.
